Linked 52 {Planning}

In our neck of the woods it’s spring break.
Earlier this week in an effort to avoid the ever inevitable “I’m borrrrrrrrred(s)”
We did some planning….

It seriously does help.
Probably because I’m such a visual person.

It helps me to have a place where I can physically see that we are in fact making memories together 🙂
And truly, it helps me to be way more intentional with my kids when I have a plan.
Plus, let’s just be honest, I adore lists 😉

Last year we did a summer fun list, a fall fun list and a Christmas Advent list.
It was awesome.
The kids were so excited to make each list and anticipate the fun we would have.
They were equally excited to put a little check mark in each box as we did them.

So far we’ve only crossed four things off that list…next week is going to be jam packed with lots more spring break fun!
🙂

*This year I am participating in a year long Photography Challenge. Each week we will link up and share our interpretation of a different theme. Please check out the other lovely ladies playing along 🙂

Michelle - I LOVE that list. I’m visual, too and seeing things get checked off would be really motivating. Plus, I like that your list is full of FUN things rather than chores. 🙂

Tracey - I soooo doing this on our spring break in a week from now! Even putting on it “Ikea lunch” bc my daughter loves the meatballs!!!! You are such a great mom. 🙂

sylviamyoung - Oh my gosh did Tammy have her baby??! Tell her I said congratulations!!!!

Amanda Kelley - OH CUTESNESS!!!!!!! I absolutely love this post! And you must have ABC Scout for your fridge too! I can’t wait for a Zoo trip, that is on my lists of MUSTS this spring!

Jessica - Love that idea! You are so good at including your kids in projects. That seems like a great idea for me to do while my hubby is away at sea, to keep us occupied with ideas and fun. Thanks!

Andrea - What a great idea! I love this! If we weren’t going to Seattle for spring break, I would be copying your idea. 🙂

Heidi - I love this idea! There’s always the summer lists, but never thought of a Spring Break one! Sounds like such a fun Spring Break.

tracy - this is such a great idea – i’m stealing it for our upcoming spring break — and very long summer break too!
