Linked 52 {Underneath}

I love this stage my girls are in.
Of pretending
and
imagination
and
make believe.
They can spend hours like this.
Playing tea party under the kitchen table
or in the living room
or set up right beside the front door.
Anywhere and everywhere, really.
Their blankets all strewn about with tiny tea cups and plastic food all around.
I love hearing their little conversations.
Their laughter.
Lost in their own little world.
But more than that I love being invited to join them for a cup myself….
Which is exactly what I did after I took a few pictures of them.
But right in the middle of our tea party it started to rain.
Pour in fact.
So much so, that the water came into our little home and continued to rise and rise and rise….
but never fear!
Da-da-da-daaaaaaa!
Miss Abby quickly climbed out the window and swam around the kitchen to get help while Miss Selah and I used our teacups in an attempt to empty out all the water.
We screamed for help and Abby quickly returned to save us.
Hooray!!!
It was quite the adventure!

*This year I am participating in a year long Photography Challenge. Each week we will link up and share our interpretation of a different theme. Please check out the other lovely ladies playing along 🙂
